Dooley Rumble Staff took part in the Ipswich Midnight Walk on Saturday 22nd May 2010, part of over 2,200 women who left the start line at Ipswich Town Football Club between 10.30pm and midnight and completed the eight-mile circuit around the town centre. Those who took part reported the atmosphere on the night was amazing and the warm balmy weather was just right. The entertainment en route proved a hit, particularly the muscly bare-chested men from Felixstowe at St Augustine's Roundabout & the friendly firemen at the Colchester Road station also got into the spirit of things, having photos taken with the women. The Town 102 mascots added to the fun factor. Many of the walkers wore fancy dress which added to the atmosphere.
According to their website, between everyone who took part around £250,000 has been raised for St Elizabeth Hospice which was more than the previous year.
