Cambridge-headquartered logistics services provider James Dolan has acquired Dooley Rumble Group Limited. Dooley Rumble Group has been trading near Ipswich for three decades. It was founded by by former directors Neil Dooley and Simon Rumble.
The deal comes 18 months after James Dolan acquired Ipswich-based Green & Skinner (Haulage). The enlarged group now has a turnover in excess of £10m.
James Dolan said: “I am proud to have secured two of the most iconic logistics companies in the region.”These acquisitions are a very positive move for the group, and we are looking forward to the opportunities and benefits they will bring. “He added that Green & Skinner will relocate to the larger Dooley Rumble site “as soon as possible” under the guidance of group operations director Ian Madgwick. “I am looking forward to the future and I am positive everyone will flourish and help build a successful group of companies, that we can all be proud of,” Dolan added.
James Dolan Limited was supported by the corporate finance team at Ensors, Ipswich led by David Scrivener with Legal support headed up by Helen Drayton of Pennington Manches, Cambridge.
